Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and liability auto insurance coverage
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Professional and friendly attitude
- Enjoy spending time with seniors!
Responsibilities:
- Build rapport with our clients; engage in conversation and provide companionship
- Assist with non-medical personal care (bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating)
- Follow a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and medication reminders
- Ensure the client’s home is organized according to their needs and safety measures are in place 
- Assist with some light housework and meal preparation 
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks
- Mobility assistance may be required (helping the client in and out of bed, a chair or a wheelchair)
- Transport or escort the client to medical and other appointments/errands
- Monitor and report changes in physical needs and mental behavior
- Position may include caring for clients with dementia
