HomeCare Advocacy Network OMAHA is seeking compassionate, attentive and trustworthy Caregivers to join our mission in providing extraordinary HomeCare to our clients. Our business is locally owned and operated by Omaha natives, who have a passion for helping seniors age in place. We want our Caregivers to know that they are a valuable part of our team, and we are always here to support them throughout their Caregiving journey!
- $16.00-$18.00 per hour
- Holiday pay, incentives, competitive wages
- Our valued employees receive flexible hours, a variety of shifts (day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts). Our caregivers are always treated with kindness and respect.
- Caregivers will follow a preplanned daily care schedule, one on one, in their client's home.
- No experience needed. We offer paid training to all Caregivers, which will cover all of the following responsibilities.
Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Engage in conversation and provide companionship
- Assist with non-medical hygiene personal care, (bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating)
- Medication reminders
- Ensure the client's home is organized
- Assist with some light housework and meal preparation
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks
- Mobility assistance (helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair)
- Transport or escort the client to medical and other appointments/errands
- Monitor and report changes in physical needs and mental behavior
Caregiver Requirements:
- Must be 19 years or older
- A High School Diploma is preferred
- Possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage
- A professional and friendly attitude
- A willingness to work flexible hours
- Enjoy helping people!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
