Room Attendant Responsibilities

• While cleaning guest rooms, ensures cleanliness standards are met
• Removes dirty towels and sheets from the guest room and replaces them with clean ones from the linen closet
• Cleans, dusts and sanitizes all areas of the guest room
• Makes bed, vacuums carpet and cleans tile area in guest room
• Removes room service trays, dishes, carts to service area landings
• Keeps all guest corridors neat, vacuumed and dusted. Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevator landing stairwells and linen storage rooms are clean. Removes all trash from areas, sorts linen for washing

Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing 100% of the shift
• Inside 100% of the shift
• Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying required up to 100 lbs. or more. Carts may be pulled up to 75 feet.
• Bending/kneeling required 70% of shift
• Mobile position required 100% of the time
