KEY NOTES:

  • MUST be 18 year old or older
  • MUST be able to work 2p-10p, but we are also accepting applications for 6a-2p.
  • MUST be able to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as they are rotated amongst agents to fair.
  • MUST be flexible to work holidays to help cover day off requests/vacations.

Front Desk Agent Responsibilities:

  • Act as manager on duty by making executive decisions to ensure that everything runs smoothly throughout the night.
  • Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies. Try your best to make things right with guest, and always communicate all issues to management for further follow up if needed.
  • Welcome and check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.
  • Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in is in line with local legislative requirements.
  • Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Record guest preferences in the system.
  • Accurately process all debit and credit card transactions using established procedures.
  • Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
  • Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times. Immediately report any health and safety incident, security breaches, concerns or suspicious behavior to management or authorities.
  • Help monitor cleanliness of lobby, gym, laundry room, bathrooms and pool/patio area
  • Complete any other small assignments given by Operations Managers or GM

Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Front desk, Night Auditor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Experience with accounting and facilities management software
  • Savy Computer Skills

  • The ability to multitask
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
