Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facility. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are kept clean and presentable, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility. Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations - Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations - Oversee the inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment - Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet established standards - Coordinate with other departments to address any specific cleaning needs or requests - Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and effectively - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Perform regular quality control checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness - Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for housekeeping staff Requirements: - Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role - Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning practices - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Exceptional attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of custodial operations in a hospitality or hotel setting is preferred Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated.
