Delivery Truck Driver/Assembly

Home Treasures Furniture is a local owned furniture store. Drivers are key contributors to the success of the company, which provides its employees with a positive work environment.

Position Details:

The Delivery Driver/Assembler is responsible for delivering products to customer locations within a set radius using best practices to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The Delivery Driver routes items between locations, ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering products and services in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. Assembly will include assembling home furniture and moving to showroom, assisting customers with loading purchases.

Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift (9:00am - 6:00pm), Stable Hours ( Saturday availability required)

Location: Athens, AL (Onsite Interview)

Duties:
·Operates a vehicle to deliver products and services to customer locations within a set radius using best practices to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
·Reports to the Operations Manager.
·Ensures that orders are complete by following the customer's order requirements; inspects items for completeness; checks for defects; adjusts route to meet changing needs; maintains accurate records; and performs other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
· Duties include moving and assembling furniture, loading, and unloading trucks.

· Assembling furniture - working with hand and powered tools.

· Stage showroom with the direction of Visual Manager.

· Responsible for cleanliness of warehouse area and general store maintenance.

· Physical activity is essential to the job - lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting.

·Follows all safety policies and procedures and engages in safety behaviors per established policies.
·Provide assistance where required to ensure safe delivery of goods; assist customers with product information; assist in loading and unloading products from vehicle; assists in vehicle maintenance; and perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.'

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
