JOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE

This position provides routine building and grounds maintenance on all facilities including cutting grass, planting and maintaining flowers, trees, and shrubs. Assists in the clean-up of yards after construction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary provides routine building and grounds maintenance on all facilities; and deals courteously and effectively with fellow employees and customers.

• Performs routine ground maintenance including planning and maintaining flowers, trees, and shrubs.
• Operates commercial weed eaters, blowers, lawn movers, etc., and other commercial landscape equipment.
• Performs maintenance on open spaces, grounds, turf, and related outdoor facilities.
• Utilizes hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, cutting/trimming equipment, and light mechanical tools.
• Operates small power tools such as but not limited to riding and push movers, power trimmers, and bush hog.
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED

• Prefer one (1) year of related experience.

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license for South Carolina with a safe driving record.
