Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and organized Office Manager/Preparer to join our small team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail oriented individual with exceptional communication skills.
Duties:
- Input data from financial records into tax return software
- Organize relevant financial records, including pay stubs and income statements
- File paperwork and client folders
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Provide clients with status updates
- Maintain organized files and records
- Take all precautionary measures to ensure client confidentiality and privacy
- Administrative tasks such as filing, copying, scanning and mailing documents
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong mathematical skills
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office Applications, Google etc.)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Integrity and honesty
- Type at least 40 WPM
- Ability to train and lead team members with respect and encouragement
Schedule:
This position has additional flexible hours, outside of the main business hours. Schedules may fluctuate throughout the year depending on the season and during tax season there may be opportunities for overtime. The business hours are:
Tax season: M, T, W, TH, S 11am-6pm
Off season: M, W, TH 11am-4pm
