POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking a Mobile X-Ray Technologist to perform quality x-ray and other diagnostic examinations on site at various types of facilities and patient homes.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensures that patient orders, demographics, and insurance information are accurate
• Maintain and build relationships with employees in facilities while focusing on excellent patient care
• Explain procedure to patients and answer questions
• Prepare and position patient for diagnostic imaging procedure
• Position radiation protection devices such as lead shields
• Setting x-ray equipment at the correct angle and height over the appropriate area of the patient’s body
• Setting controls on the x-ray machine to produce x-rays or radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contrast
• Capture image of each angle following physicians’ orders precisely
• Evaluate image for quality
• Maintain patient records / documentation
• Maintain / adjust equipment

• Ability to exercise judgement and make decisions
• Excellent communication skills to communicate with patients, physicians, clients, coworkers, and management staff
• Ability to document accurately and concisely
• Excellent phone and computer skills
• Ability to maintain sensitive information in confidence
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize diverse responsibilities
• HIPAA and OSHA knowledge
• Strong organizational skills
• High School or equivalent
• ARRT Licensure
• BLS Certified
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work / drive in various weather conditions
• Background with eClinicalWorks Practice Management System preferred
