Are you a problem solver who likes to work with computers? If so, Modern Woodmen of America is seeking a Computer Science or Information Systems student who is looking to gain work experience as a PC Services’ Technical Support Intern in the summer of 2024.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Work directly with our Help Desk Technicians assisting them with first level support for the IT Help Desk using our ticketing system.
• Gain valuable knowledge on how to troubleshoot and resolve many issues involving hardware, software, and other peripheral equipment.

What we need:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Can-do attitude and team player.
• Detail-oriented.
• Be prepared to assist the PC Services area with a variety of tasks.

• Modern Woodmen’s summer internships are ideal for current college students interested in exploring the financial services industry. The program offers an opportunity for students to gain real-life work experience related to their studies while connecting with a mentor in their field.
• The hourly pay for this internship is $19/hour.
• This is a full-time, 11-week summer Internship:
  • 5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday. On-site positions work at our Home Office in Rock Island, IL.
  • Flexible start time between 7:00AM-9:00AM.
  • Anticipated duration: late May-mid August.
  • Located at Modern Woodmen’s home office in Rock Island, IL.
