Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Verbeck Resource Center - El Cajon, CA
Pay: $19.00 per hour

As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients with daily activities such as community outings, exercise and health, household chores, hygiene tasks, and building relationships. You should be patient, self-motivated, and enjoy engaging with clients. With us, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those with special needs.
We have been providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 50 years and are well-known throughout San Diego County. Our residential program is the largest and longest running, with 30 homes that can care for up to 6 individuals each. With us, you'll have the chance to work with a variety of clients and grow professionally.

Requirements:
12 months of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, experience with behaviors a plus!
High school diploma or GED equivalency
18 years or older
Valid Driver's License with 24 months of driving experience (preferred)
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including boosters, as required by California mandate and Public Health Order. Exemptions may be requested for medical or religious reasons but are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
Schedules:
Full-time and on-call positions available
Variable shifts, such as Sunday 10A-6P, Monday 1P-9P, Thursday 2P-10P, and more
PM shifts from 2P-10P and NOC shifts from 10P-6A.
