HOME MEDICAL is Hiring an Intake Care Coordinator - Hybrid (FT) Near Richardson, TX

Looking for a highly energetic, friendly, and ready to help our patients with medical needs. Are you a critical thinker and problem solver? Do you like working a fast-paced job? The medical industry is recession-proof!

If you are willing to learn, we are willing to train the right individual to become an Intake Care Coordinator and handle all aspects of our patient’s orders!

This is full-time Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. This is a HYBRID position. Must be local and available to come into the Richardson, Texas office.

Job Details:

Completing patient authorization Intake process, including verifying insurance.
Communicating with patients and physicians’ offices.
Completing submission and/or follow-up on any required documents/forms.
Completing submission and/or follow-up on pre-certification and/or pre-authorization.
Assisting with answering phones and updating patients on anything related to their accounts.
Must be a critical thinker, capable of multi-tasking, and thinking outside the box. Not afraid to ask questions.

Ideal Candidate:

Brightree Experience preferred.
Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience is preferred, and respiratory and enteral supplies and equipment are a plus.
Computer savvy, proficient in most Microsoft Office products.
A well-spoken, professional, mature team player is a MUST!
Excellent problem-solving skills are preferred.
Detailed and capable of multi-tasking is a must.
Competence and knowledge of medical terminology are a plus.
Knowledge of insurance carriers, particularly Medicaid and MCO’s a plus.
Being bilingual is a plus.
