G.R.I.T. Home Care Services, L.L.C. d.b.a Home Instead

Objective :

The Recruitment and Training Coordinator will manage the recruitment process, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and oversee the execution and organization of all training programs while ensuring the smooth onboarding of Care Pros to provide the highest quality service to clients.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Reflect the core values of G.R.I.T. Home Care Services, L.L.C., d.b.a (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise).
  • Answer each employment inquiry in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
  • Develop and implement new recruitment strategies online and within the community.
  • Manage recruitment ads and post positions as necessary.
  • Check-in frequently with leads within the applicant tracking system.
  • Conduct applicant phone screen interviews and Schedule in-person interviews efficiently and professionally.
  • Following the Home Instead Standards, conduct reference checks on all Care Pros.
  • Create a monthly training calendar.
  • Enter and maintain accurate Care Pro records in the operating system.
  • Schedule and conduct Care Pro orientation.
  • Evaluate and update all orientation and training materials as needed.
  • Develop monthly in-service topics to meet Care Pro and office needs.
  • Assist, plan, and facilitate quarterly Care Pro Meetings
  • Schedule and conduct Care Pro Training, In-Service, and Alzheimer's Training.
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, Care Pros, clients, and family members.
  • Please adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Secondary Responsibilities :

  • Conduct client / Care Pro introductions as needed.
  • Perform all other functions deemed necessary.

Education / Experience Requirements :

  • High school graduation or the equivalent
  • One year of related business experience or equivalent education and work experience may be considered.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Supervisory Responsibilities :

This position will oversee all the recruiting and training functions performed by the Care Pro staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by G.R.I.T. Home Care Services, L.L.C.

  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information, and meet deadlines
  • Must demonstrate practical interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity, and fair-mindedness consistent with office standards, practices, policies, and procedures
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the senior care industry
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly work
  • Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with the franchise owner, office colleagues, Care Pros, and the community
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must have the ability to operate office equipment
  • Must be patient and friendly on the telephone
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Excel and Word
  • Must have the availability to work evenings or weekends as required
  • Must have the ability to perform duties in a professional office setting
  • Must have the ability to work as a part of a team
  • Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills
