Before You Apply, Do you Qualify?

• Are you willing to travel 20 to 30 mins to clients in Gifford, Wabasso, North Vero Beach?
• Must attend 2 1 / 2 week day in office training as part of employment
• Must be able to perform Personal Care on male and female clients
• Can you Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen?
• Must have a clean neat vehicle with working air conditioning!
• Must be able pass an Home Health Exam
• Do you Possess a valid Florida driver’s license with no suspensions or points, and valid auto insurance in your name?
• Must be at least 18 years of age!
• Do you have experience caring for family / friends or working as a HHA or in a facility?

Here are just a few of the tasks you might perform as a Home Instead Care Professional :

• Assist with personal care, such as bathing and grooming for males and females
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care
• Must wear scrubs and sneakers to all shifts
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal prep
• Provide medication reminders
• Transport clients to appointments and assist with errands / shopping
• Dementia / Alzheimer’s Care (We train!)
• Provide respite care

Care Professional Requirements :

• Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
• Must have a clean neat vehicle with working air conditioning
• Must be able pass a competency exam by reading, writing, and speaking English
• Possess a valid Florida driver’s license with no suspensions or points, and valid auto insurance in your name
• Must be at least 18 years of age
