Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person/Office - 1574 W. Broadway, Ste 101 Madison, WI

Home Instead is seeking a Recruitment & Engagement Associate (REA) for our Madison, WI location. The Recruiting and Engagement Associate (REA) is focused on recruiting top Care Pro talent through on-line posts, other advertising and community networking. The REA reports directly to the Recruiting and Engagement Manager and works closely with all team members at the branch. This is an in-office position as this is essential for the recruiting process.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the REM by researching and identifying candidates for open positions, review applications, and screen candidates.
  • Create job ads, including listings on major job boards and social media.
  • Coordinate interviews, including scheduling, distributing scheduling notices, conducting interviews, and evaluating candidates.
  • Schedules Care Pro onboarding including orientation, training, and paperwork.
  • Maintain and update job listings.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including Care Pro personnel files, post-offer pre-employment drug screens and background checks.
  • Maintain an accurate, organized, and detailed candidate database.
  • Assist candidates during the interview process, answering questions and providing them with necessary materials
  • Under the guidance of the REM schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner
  • Following the Home Instead Senior Care Standards; conduct reference checks, criminal background and motor vehicle check and drug screens on all Care Pros
  • Assist in meeting expectations with respect to critical metrics, such as Care Pro utilization, turnover, etc.
  • Monitor, mediate, and log all client and Care Pro activity utilizing the software system.
  • Help ensure Care Pro availability optimization and utilization of Care Pro hours.
  • Help maintain compliance with local and federal labor and safety laws including EOE, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with Candidates, the General Manager, REM, colleagues, Care Pros, clients and family members.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Travel as required for the job.
  • Serves as a backup for the REM.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and timeliness to execute job responsibilities.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience recruiting preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding clerical skills, such as data entry, emailing, and scheduling.
  • High degree of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Resilience in the face of unexpected challenges and setbacks.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of information.
