Social Work Sales Representative Job Description

Objective:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Work Sales Representative to join our team. In this unique role, you will blend your social work expertise with sales skills to promote and sell social services to individuals, families, and organizations. The successful candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on the community and possess excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Outreach (30%):
    • Identify and cultivate potential clients for social services.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, families, and organizations in need of social support.
    • Utilize sales techniques to promote and sell social work services.
    • Conduct outreach programs to increase awareness of available social services.
  2. Advocacy and Networking (30%):
    • Advocate for clients within the community to ensure access to essential services.
    • Build and maintain a network of community resources and partnerships.
    • Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and meetings.
  3. Assessment and Consultation (20%):
    • Assess the needs of clients to determine appropriate social service solutions.
    • Provide consultation to clients regarding available programs and resources.
    • Collaborate with clients to develop customized plans that address their specific social and emotional needs.
  4. Documentation and Reporting (10%):
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and services provided.
    • Prepare reports on outreach activities, sales efforts, and client progress thru salesforce system
      1. Meet performance minimum metrics that are set quarterly
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.
  5. Collaboration with Social Work Team (10%)
    • Collaborate with other social workers and professionals to enhance service delivery.
    • Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss needs in the community and strategies.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or a related field is advantageous.
  • State licensure or certification as a social worker preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance empathy and professionalism in a sales environment.
  • Understanding of social issues and a commitment to social justice.
  • Familiarity with community resources and social service programs.

Knowledge, skills and Abilities:

  • Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Kavis Healthcare, Inc., (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills is essential as well as sound judgment and good decision-making
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly work
  • Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with office colleagues, the franchise owner, clients and the community
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must have the ability to operate office equipment
  • Must have computer skills and ability to learn new systems (e.g Salesforce)
  • Must be able to work evenings or weekends as required
