Home Instead is looking for a trusted and heartfelt Caregiver to join our Home Instead family! As a Home Instead Caregiver, your work is valued and appreciated. Our senior clients will put their trust in you to support their everyday living needs. If you have a passion to help others and are looking to make a difference in your community, this opportunity would be perfect for you!
No experience? No problem. All new hires graduate from our New Hire Training Program, and have the skills they need to work with our senior clients. Care Professionals receive ongoing training to build their skills throughout their time at Home Instead. 
Day shift hours are currently available in Bloomington, IN. At Home Instead, Caregivers set their own working availability - meaning you tell us what days and hours you can work! This allows you to build a schedule that fits your needs. 
As a Caregiver, you will work with seniors in their homes to assist them with their activities of daily living. Provide companionship and conversation, participate in engaging activities, provide assistance with personal care, and create a bond with your client. Each client has individual care needs, which are communicated to you through our customized Care Plans. Providing the highest quality of care is a priority for us, and Home Instead ensures that our Care Professionals are prepared to meet their client's needs.
 

Do you fit the requirements to become a Caregiver?

  • Have a passion for caring for others
  • Enjoy working with seniors 
  • Ability to assist clients in their home with activities of daily living
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
