Rec & Royal is an immersive entertainment experience that embodies two unique spaces in one artfully crafted venue. Rec Room is an innovative arcade bar and karaoke lounge while Royal is a cutting edge boutique nightclub where you can party the night away. What will I be doing at Rec & Royal?
The Security Host provides security and protection for guests, employees and the property. Maintains crowd control, prevents theft, and discourages altercations in a high volume atmosphere. The Security Host works in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior guest service at all times. This is a non-tip eligible position (Security Hosts are not allowed to receive gratuities from our guests).
- Constantly provides guests with accurate information about the venue as well as entertainment offered in each.
- Uphold law and order in the venue, in conjunction with local law enforcement.
- Reacts professionally and rationally in emergency and pressure situations
- Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed.
- Provides security and protection for our guests, employees, and company property.
- Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned.
- Promotes and practices safety awareness and behavior, adhering to all safety standards.
- Remains alert for any suspicious persons or activities.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- 18 years of age.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Work as a team, stay organized, multi-task, and prioritize.
- Have or be able to get a Philadelphia bouncer certification certificate.
Hourly compensation is based on experience. This position will require working midweek shifts, weekends, holidays and late evening shifts.
