Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various landscaping tasks to ensure the maintenance and beautification of outdoor spaces. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
WE DO NOT LAY OFF ANY EMPLOYEES. This is a year-round, full time position. In the winter you would perform general maintenance on machines and facilities. With winter comes snow and you would be required to perform snow plowing and snow removal services. Snow removal may require mandatory overtime depending on the size of the storm.
Duties:
- Perform trimming, and edging of lawns using power tools and equipment
- Assist with the installation of landscape features such as plants, trees, and hardscape elements
- Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks including weeding, mulching, and pruning & fertilizing
- Operate and maintain equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools
- Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Perform basic tree care tasks such as pruning and trimming
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices
- Ability to operate power tools, equipment, trucks and trailers safely and effectively
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Valid driver's license preferred
