Specializing in drip coffee, banh mi sandwiches, salads, and baked goods, our cafe serves individuals in the morning through lunchtime. Our carefully curated menu offers a selection to a wide audience, while focusing on Vietnamese iced
drip coffee and banh mi sandwiches. Working for our cafe means overseeing a variety of pastries, coffees, and teas, catering to the needs and tastes of the Sparks/Reno community.
Hours of operation: 10:30AM-8:00PM Monday-Friday
9:30AM-8:00PM Saturday-Sunday,
CLOSED on Tuesdays

Barista Position:
A Sip of Saigon barista oversees and executes all drink orders, and is able to provide warm customer service, organize sales transactions, and maintain a clean workstation. This position requires good communication between kitchen, manager, and customer, making sure that ingredients are prepped, food is delivered on time, and quality is kept priority. You as a barista
should be passionately eager to educate and display our brand philosophy to our customers.
This Position Requires:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience working in food/beverage industry
• Knowledge on espresso drink ratios and temperatures.
• Knowledge on proper sanitary measures.
• Full ability to speak and understand English.
• Communication and customer service skills.
• Positivity and motivation towards serving the finest quality to guests!

This Position's Responsibilities:

• Manage several orders at a time.
• Work with management on ingredient stock/shipment.
• Handcraft a variety of tea and coffee drinks with quality and consistency (minimal customer customization.)
• Prepare/refill teas, coffees, and toppings.
• Meet the required drink temperatures and customer requests.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.
• Work cash register.
• Provide warm customer service.
• Teach new team members on job functions.
• Understanding and accomplishing the needs of each customer.
