Home Care Providers is seeking to urgently hire motivated and talented caregivers to serve our senior/elderly clients. We are currently seeking someone available to work a variety of hours, including nights and/or weekends.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage in the home care services. This role is not dependent on a single client. Your weekly hours will be consistent. We offer flexible and consistent schedules, weekly pay, overtime pay opportunities, and paid sick time. If you go to school we can schedule your shifts around your school schedule!!

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance such as showering, bathing, dressing
• Help clients with ambulation and transfers
• Support mobility around the house or outside for a quick walk
• Assist with physical therapy exercises as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Complete tasks essential for daily living by assisting patients with light meal prep, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or transfer clients. Must with the physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Demonstrated prior experience, a minimum of one year in a healthcare setting including hospitals, skilled nursing or assisted living
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
• Experience caring for bed-bound clients is required
• Comfortable with brief changes/incontinence care
• Comfortable with shower assists to include bed baths

Required Skills

• Strong Communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid Auto Insurance
• Reliable transportation every single day
• Able to use technology - a smartphone is required for this role - phone reimbursement is provided.
• Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or completion of the first semester of nursing school
• Take pride in providing high-quality care
