Home Care Nursing Professionals is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) New Grads Welcomed to Apply Near Chicago, IL

Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) -

Place of Employment: Patient’s homes, and work sites outside of the patients home as required. Based in the Northside of Chicago, IL.

Reports to: Home Care Nursing Professionals, LLC’s Agency Manager, Nurse Supervisor.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Works: 24-36 Hours Per Week

Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7PM to 7AM

Schedule: 3 Days A Week/12 hour shifts/Flex Schedule, (required to either work both weekend days every other week or working one weekend day every week). Both part time night shift and day shift are available

Location: Job location will be in the same Patient's home (Northside of Chicago, IL.) for every shift

Pay: $38-43.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a front-line position acting as a representative for Home Care Nursing Professionals, LLC and providing the services offered by the company.

The RN’s duties are not limited to those listed as the position has a wide scope of duties at times dependent on the Patient, and yet always under the auspices of the company. The role of the Registered Nurse is unique and essential to the care of the Patient.

The RN will typically work unsupervised at the Patient’s Residence (located in the Northside of Chicago, IL.) mostly independently and with 12 hr CNA support. Therefore, the RN candidate must have a balance of good judgement and initiative along with implementation of the policies and procedures of the Home Care Nursing Professionals, LLC agency.

· RN will be responsible for carrying out a Plan of Care for the Patient developed by the Registered Nurse Supervisor.

· It is the responsibility of the RN staff, occasionally under the supervision of the RN Nurse Supervisor, to perform routine treatments and services in the delivery of care to the Patient.

· All Nursing Care to Patients shall be conducted in compliance with the Physician’s orders and in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act.

· RN will be expected to provide the Patient and the patient’s family members with health education, listening to concerns, consoling as needed and communicating as necessary.

Requirement:

· Current/Active State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse License

Desired Qualifications:

· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through American Heart Association and a Standard in First Aid Certification

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Ability to work independently with excellent communication and listening skills

· Strong human relation skills to interact effectively and collaborate with client and other staff members. Ability to act in a compassionate and caring manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

RN will work together with CNA to help chronic quadruplegic client with his ADLs. RN is mostly responsible for the client's nursing care while CNA will be responsible for client feeding, cooking, running errands, etc. Client is cognitively intact and lives a full life in his lovely home located in a nice, safe neighborhood located in the NW side of Chicago. Training for this position is provided by our Agency until both RN and client are comfortable with each other.

General Notes: The RN will be required to maintain a safe working environment for themselves and the client.
