Holy Spirit Parish School is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic, and professional Middle School English Language Arts Teacher who will also serve to be the 6th grade homeroom teacher to begin on July 1, 2023.

The successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to academic and personal excellence. She/He must have knowledge of Literature, Writing and Vocabulary, and are dedicated, experienced, and enthusiastic about the subject matter. She/he must also have an appreciation for Holy Spirit Parish School’s values and mission, diversity, community, and service.

Requirements

• Practicing Catholic with a Catechist certification preferred
• College/university degree in a relevant field—graduate degree preferred—with experience teaching middle school students
• Hold a teaching credential or currently be enrolled in a credential and/or Masters program preferred
• Have knowledge and experience using content standards and integrating technology into the classroom

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and degrees between $50,775-$65,000 based on the Diocese of Sacramento current salary scale.
