Our Lady of the Holy Rosary St. Richard School (Dade County), Florida has an opening for a Middle School English/ Language Arts Teacher for the 2024- 25 school year. The applicant must be a dynamic and innovative educator with the ability to develop lessons that cultivate critical thinking skills, designing instruction to motivate and engage all learners, and the ability to develop cross-curricular units. The candidate performs all duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.

Qualifications:

• BS / BA Degree in Secondary Education or Language Arts education.
• Must have Teaching Certificate in Language Arts grades 6-8.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Experience in STREAM applications preferred.
• Strong presentation skills including use of instructional technologies.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint a plus.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
• Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
