Job Summary: The IT Financial Accounting Analyst with solid technology and financial management acumen collaborates across the Accounting and IT team and supports the CIO and the CIO Leadership Team in strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and other financial areas. This role will provide support to the key stakeholders through technical expertise, financial analytics, driving process and data improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business, Finance, or a related quantitative field required
• Five (5) years of experience in the field of financial planning/analysis required
• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable principles, practices, and methods of accounting
• Exceptional business acumen
• Strong PC skills, to include intermediate level skills with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong creativity and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy skills
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, deadline-oriented
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, approaches, and prevention to problems
• Ability to handle large amounts of data and high volume of transactions
• Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

Essential Functions:

• Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
• Provide variance analysis comparing actual technology spend versus plan, forecast, and prior year
• Perform and coordinate project-based financial analysis and modeling to support reporting of the operation and capital spend including assisting in business case preparation and submission for financial investment
• Review department results with team on a monthly basis to highlight performance and coordinate on forecasts
• Support the Annual Planning and Quarterly Forecasting process
• Create insightful and actionable analyses to explain and act upon significant business initiatives
• Create recurring or ad-hoc reports and models for the purpose of allowing management to make data-driven decisions
• Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned

Travel:

• 5-10% of travel is to be expected
