Hologic Careers is Hiring a Change Analyst Near San Diego, CA

Do you have experience in document control within the Life Sciences industry, or in a manufacturing environment? Are you a solid team player with attention to detail, who takes pride in ensuring accuracy and integrity of data?

As a leading innovator of women’s health, we at Hologic are empowering people to live healthier lives everywhere, every day. Our QA Department is looking for a Change Analyst to join our solid Quality Document Control team, which is the core foundational element in our organization, and critical in ensuring we keep abreast of new, changing, and existing regulatory requirements.

As the Change Analyst, you will be:

  • Applying your good judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. You will be enforcing corporate standards and procedures in accordance with accordance with governing guidelines
  • The liaison between Quality, Operations, PMO, etc., to ensure the appropriate changes are properly documented.
  • Implementing and maintaining engineering change order system
  • Reviewing and tracking product improvements, repairs, and new product releases

Other duties and responsibilities include:

  • Following established practices and procedures consisting of change control management functions and quality record storage retention management
  • Coordination with change order Originators to create, revise or obsolete documentation with the appropriate approvals.
  • Track and coordinate change order completion, approval, and implementation.
  • Manage Master Signature File form completion
  • Provide troubleshooting and audit assistance as needed
  • Manage completion of department periodic reviews
  • Provide backup assistance with controlled printing and CD generation
  • May perform some administrative duties such as filing and correspondence.
  • May include other duties as defined by the Document Control department management.

Qualifications we would like to see from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent college degree 
  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of related work experience
  • Experience using Oracle eBusiness suite software preferred
  • Experience using Oracle Agile ERP PLM systems preferred
  • Experience in a medical device company or biotechnology industry a plus.
  • MS Office
