Proteges are individuals who are interested in learning about the insurance industry and will be able to open their own agency after obtaining the additional Insurance licenses and additional requirements that are in place within the program. All requirements in the program must be completed within a year to be able to graduate from the program and become an Agency Owner in their own right. The ideal candidate is a self-driven, enterprising, business-minded individual with an interest in owning their own agency. You can either build an agency with or without financial investment or buy an already existing agency if one is available.
Training and Growth for the Insurance Sales Agency Owner position:
While having prior insurance/financial services experience is a plus, it is not required. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a business plan to grow your agency and meet sales goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and prospects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and community members.
• Market and promote Farmers Insurance products and services to potential clients.

Qualifications:

• Ambitious mindset with a passion for sales and customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and community members.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
• Previous experience in insurance sales or related field preferred, but not required.
• Willing to obtain licenses. Must have to sell insurance in the state of Colorado.
