Hollywood Woodwork is Hiring a Facility Janitor (FT) Near Hollywood, FL
- Garbage enclosure; keep orderly and accessible.
- Maintain an orderly appearance around the Factory floor and warehouse entrance.
- Keep the dust collector enclosure area, swept up and neat.
- Work with the Mill department to maintain the shaving dumpster.
- Keep the West & East sides of the property clean.
- Maintain the cardboard recycling program and assist with the other recyclables.
- Keep abreast of the waste pick up schedule, to facilitate efficient use of space.
- Keep all waste containers emptied and in good repair.
- Empty the scrap wood hoppers and remove any unsafe ripping’s from the walk areas.
- Keep common areas of Factory floor swept up.
- Maintain an ongoing dusting schedule for the overhead mechanical equipment on a rotational basis.
- Maintain work tools clean and organized.
- Keep all production floor restrooms clean.
- Clean and mop the break room, visual area, and related office space weekly.
- Teamwork - Ability to effectively work in a team environment, including ability to take/follow directives, maintain professional demeanor, and demonstrate respect for all employees.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and job specifications.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, maintain focus, and follow through in completing work tasks.
- Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and complete assigned tasks.
- Consistent punctuality and attendance.
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting
- Frequent bending at the waist and knees, climbing, kneeling, and crouching
- Frequent lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
