Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our furry friends. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of the animals in our care.

Duties:
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal living spaces
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the veterinary team
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Handle animals safely and securely during examinations or procedures
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment
- Assist with customer service duties such as answering phone calls and scheduling appointments

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pet care or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of basic pet grooming techniques is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a professional and friendly manner
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Familiarity with animal restraint techniques is desirable
- Basic knowledge of veterinary procedures and terminology is beneficial
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
