Hollingshead Barret Eye Center is seeking a motivated Office Phone Specialist to join our team in Boise, ID.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office setting, be self-motivated and reliable, detail oriented, possess good computer skills, and have experience in an office setting.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct phone calls
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Write and distribute email, correspondence to other departments, faxes and forms
• Maintain patient records and filing system
• Provide information about the company and its services to new and existing patients
• Update and create medical records
• Perform insurance research by collecting, verifying, and analyzing patient insurance information
• Comply with OSHA and HIPAA established policies and procedures at all times
• Ability to properly triage patient appointments
• Monitor daily schedules for potential problems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
