Holley Performance Products is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Near El Paso, TX

Job Summary: The accounts receivable clerk is responsible for managing the company's receivables, ensuring timely collection of payments from customers, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with customer accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer payments and transactions.
  • Prepare and distribute statements of account to customers as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
  • Provide support for audits and respond to audit inquiries related to accounts receivable.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to accounts receivable processes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with customer service and resolving customer inquiries and issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to accounts receivable processes is a plus.
