OVERVIEW

Machine Operators are responsible for setting up the machine for production cycles, controlling and adjusting the machine if needed and filling raw materials into the machine in order to produce pillows and comforters of various shapes and sizes.

It is expected Machine Operators work efficiently in a fast-paced, repetitive environment with accuracy and speed to achieve company expectations which are necessary to meet and exceed customer demands.

Associates in this role may have varied job duties based on assigned machine and department requirements.

This position places a strong significance on effective teamwork, clear communication, sound judgment, safety orientation, achieving and maintaining production efficiency and a dedication to the quality of our product.

All Hollander associates play a crucial role in meeting our customer requirements and are expected after initial training to perform with minimal supervision.

Associates may be asked to assist with other duties and work in other departments when needed to meet those requirements.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :

• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules and instructional procedures in written, oral, or schedule form
• Capable of following instructions
