Duties that will be performed include, but not limited to:

• Review plans and specifications with trade partners on site and communicate the scope of work.
• Attend and sometimes conduct jobsite meetings with trade partners, engineers, and city officials to ensure efficient and orderly performance of the job.
• Ensure construction schedules are being met and also updated on a daily basis.
• Responsible for submitting daily logs and progress reports through provided project management software.
• Coordinate and oversee regulatory inspections set forth by the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction).
• Assist other Project Leaders.
• Procure material and issue variance purchase orders for any unforeseen items that arise outside of the original budget and scope.
• Clearly communicate scope of work and pricing requirements with trade partners.
• Mentor and lead other less experienced team members as the role progresses.

The following Experience – Qualifications – Education - and Skills are not required, but preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Science or Engineering.  Related construction experience.
• Ability to read a set of construction plans.
• Proficiently utilize project management software, Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and estimating tools: PlanSwift, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Buildertrend, Procore, etc.
• Ability to adapt quickly and change with innovative technology.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
