We’re looking for an amazing team of Seabourn Reservations Sales Agents to provide exceptional customer service and sales interactions to Seabourn Travel Agents, Preferred Accounts and direct guests. As a Work from Home Sales Agent, you will work to promote and sell cruise vacation packages including but not limited to air and land arrangements, onboard arrangements, and related reservations service needs. Seabourn Reservation Sales Agents will work with teams across Seabourn, with our corporate headquarters in Seattle, WA, we’re looking for amazing people across the country for this role. Seabourn offers strong compensation and outstanding benefits including cruise travel. Here’s a summary of what Seabourn is looking for in a Reservations Sales Agent.

Successful candidates:

We are looking for energetic and competitive sales-minded, performance-driven individuals with previous sales experience to join our team.

  • Can provide consistent consultative telephone support to travel agents and direct guests in a positive, knowledgeable, and professional manner.
  • Strong written skills in order to provide administrative and email support to travel agents and direct guests.
  • Exceptional time management skills, the ability to multi-task, and quick problem-solving skills to provide a seamless interaction.
  • Ability to provide high individual and departmental productivity, efficiency through superior customer service, effective time management, product knowledge and cruise arrangement expertise.
  • Is self-motivated, reliable and punctual.
  • Willingness to assist with projects as requested by the Manager and/or supervisors of Guest Programs.
  • Prior experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred.
  • Experience in the travel and hospitality industry is desirable but not required.

Compensation

The hourly rate of pay will be $16.00. This position is considered non-exempt in accordance with the Department of labor and Fair Labor Standards Act. Paydays are every other week with 26 pay periods per annum. An annual schedule of pay periods is provided on the company intranet for reference. New associates with less than three (3) full months of service in the fiscal year for which performance is being measured are not eligible for a merit increase, and the first merit adjustment is deferred to the following year.

After the training period, you will be eligible to participate in the Sebourn Reservations Incentive Plan associated with this position. More details about the plan will be provided at a later date.

If you are selected as a Sales Agent, Seabourn will provide you with work equipment. The company will pay for you a monthly contact center adjustment of $50.00 to supplement your residential internet cost for business purposes. In order for your residential internet to support our business model, your residential internet must meet the following requirements:

  • Must have high-speed, non-satellite, non-dial-up internet. Cable internet is preferred.
  • Must meet the required minimum download and upload speeds
  • Must not have a data cap
  • Must have computer hard-wired to the modem
