Enriching lives through investment and service is the mission at the core of everything we do at Holladay. The Security Office at The Factory at Franklin supports this mission by ensuring The Factory maintains best practices in safety and security measures for guests and tenants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Monitoring and patrolling indoor and outdoor premises regularly to deter and address unsafe or illegal activity on campus.
• Maintaining relationship and communication with local first responders in collaborative, proactive effort to manage life safety events if/when they occur.
• When necessary, evicting, or detaining trespassers or perpetrators until local authorities arrive to remediate.
• Consistently observing surveillance cameras in an effort to anticipate and preempt criminal or disruptive behaviors, as well as investigatively.
• Assisting with lockdown procedures both in the event of a security need and at regular closing times.
• Providing detailed reports on relevant daily and ongoing concerns in addition to incident reports as they occur.
• Constant possession and response to Factory security cellphone to respond to staff/tenant/local authority communications.
• Properly using and maintaining company security vehicle.
• Properly using and maintaining company security radios at all times while on duty; and
• Administering first aid/CPR/AED device as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Previous police, military, and/or security experience needed.

• Must have Tennessee Unarmed Guard License pursuant with Tennessee State Law or obtain within 15 days of hire.

• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

• Valid Driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clean MVR report.

Compensation:

The Security Officer compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. This range is subject to local, state, and regional dynamics and may be adjusted up or down depending on market conditions.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift at least 15 pounds.

• Ability to work 8-hour shifts with heavy foot patrolling.

Supervisory Responsibility:

• This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.

Promotional Opportunity:

Associates with more than twelve (12) months of service may request consideration to transfer to other jobs as vacancies become available and will be considered along with other applicants. To be considered, Associates must have a satisfactory performance record and have no disciplinary actions during the last twelve (12) months. Management retains the discretion to make exceptions to the policy.
