Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients with psychiatric disorders. Your role will involve assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health conditions, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plan

Duties:

- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine the mental health needs of patients
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practices
- Prescribe and manage medications for patients with psychiatric conditions
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with complex needs
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Qualifications:

- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in [state/region]
- Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
