Job Description

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the chiropractor in daily operations, including clinical note-taking, patient intake, reviewing patient care, and conducting structural assessments. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a compassionate approach to patient interactions, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Intake and Management:

    • Greet patients and manage scheduling.
    • Support in initial patient exams, document health history, and maintain patient records.
    • Manage patient flow in the office, ensuring timely service and a smooth clinic operation.
  • Clinical Assistance:

    • Assist the chiropractor during examinations and treatments.
    • Take detailed clinical notes during patient visits and update patient records.
    • Help with the preparation and implementation of treatment plans.
  • Structural Assessments:

    • Assist in performing structural assessments under the guidance of the chiropractor.
  • Patient Education and Care:

    • Provide information and educational materials to patients about their treatments and wellness plans.
    • Assist in reviewing patient care and follow-up on treatment progress.
  • Administrative Duties:

    • Manage appointment bookings and cancellations.
    • Collect and organize patient information for the Chiropractor's assessment.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a chiropractic or medical office preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in office software and patient management systems.

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused.
  • Detailed oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to assist in lifting patients as required.
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods.
