Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all front desk operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This is a key leadership role within our hotel, and we are looking for someone who can effectively manage a team while maintaining a high level of professionalism and hospitality.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise front desk staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Assist with revenue management by maximizing room occupancy and upselling when appropriate
Skills:
- Proven experience in front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in phone systems and phone etiquette
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Bilingual skills (preferred)
- Knowledge of hotel management software (OPERS PMS)
