Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Manager to assist in the daily operations of a casual dining hotel restaurant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, managing restaurant operations efficiently, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Beer, wine and spirits knowledge is a must!
Duties:
-Assist in Managing day-to-day operations of the restaurant
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff
- Create and maintain a positive work environment
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and marketing strategies
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures
- Knowledge of Micros POS system is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
