Splash Harbour Water Park and Holiday Inn Harbourside IRB are seeking an experienced full-time Certified Pool Operator Supervising Waterpark Maintenance Manager with mechanical aptitude/experience.
We're a resort hotel and water park on 16 acres along the Intracoastal Waterway in Indian Rocks Beach. This position includes maintaining the guest swimming pool at the hotel as well as throughout Splash Harbour. This is an outdoor position. Your shift usually starts early in the morning. but we also have evening work to be done, primarily cleaning of filters and facilities.
You will schedule, lead, and supervise two pool cleaners by example. Your three-person team will manage the water quality throughout our campus to provide an optimal swimming experience for our guests.
Your core duties when running a sustainable waterpark include plumbing, carpentry, electrical, chemical balance, and hydraulic motors. We maintain several bodies of water around our 16-acre campus. We're seeking a motivated self-starter who is okay with standing most of the day. We are a Waterpark so you cannot be afraid of water.
As you maintain the pools at our resort, you'll be an integral part of our engineering department and other teams, working closely with colleagues and guests. A working cell phone is a must, as is the ability to stand and walk for most of your shift.

Qualifications:
- Certified Pool Operator
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment repair
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Experience in pool maintenance
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
