Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper/Laundry to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Laundry, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our hotel. Your primary duties will include laundering and cleaning various areas of the hotel. Responsibilities: - Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and towels - Ensure all laundry is properly sorted and labeled - Operate laundry equipment in a safe and efficient manner - Clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets - Clean and sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies as needed - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and lounges - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor - Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards Requirements: - Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred - Knowledge of laundering techniques and proper handling of cleaning chemicals - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently - Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency - Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift - Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members Note: This is a paid position.
