Holiday Inn Express is Hiring a Guest Service Representative PM SHIFTS Near Morristown, TN

Morristown hotel seeking potential candidates for full time front desk pm shift position. Weekends and holidays also required as needed.

Applicant(s) must provide exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous and professional manner. Responsible for ensuring 100% satisfaction from the moment a guest arrives at the hotel to the moment they leave.

Performs all Front Desk related functions including but not limited to checking guests in/out, fulfilling their requests during their stay, answering telephone inquiries, making reservations, selling guestrooms, maintaining guest records, cash handling, and any other duties or responsibilities which might be required by hotel manager.

Qualifications and requirements

· A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time.

· MUST be available to do nights. This will include weekends and holidays as needed.

· At least 1 year work experience in hotel guest services or other customer service related area, preferred but not required. Will train the right candidate.

· Possessing strong written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional time management abilities in order to register and accommodate guests

· Self-motivated

· Neat and professional appearance

· A positive attitude

· Strong computer proficiency

· Able to work through customer service related issues and problem solve.

· Must be able to multitask, and prioritize with excellent follow up skills and customer service

· Must be over 18 years of age

· Manage guest service requests in a timely manner

· Processing cash or credit card payments efficiently

· Maintaining updated information on room availability, reservations and guest messages

· Ability to effectively operate Property Management Software (PMS) systems

Schedule:

PM Shift 3:30pm - 11:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
