Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team. As the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of housekeeping operations. Your attention to detail, strong leadership abilities, and extensive knowledge of housekeeping management will be essential in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our facility.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to brand established cleaning procedures and standards

- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping team members

- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of guest requests and maintenance issues

- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained

- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity

- Monitor budgetary expenses related to housekeeping operations

- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting

- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning methods

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels, Spanish and English.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
