Job Title: Engineering Assistant

We are seeking an Engineering Assistant to join our team and assist the Chief Engineer with room PM's, special projects, and overall maintenance of the property. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Chief Engineer with room PM's and special projects

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and repairing minor electrical and plumbing issues

- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance needs

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols

- Assist with the coordination of outside contractors as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role preferred

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Basic computer skills

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
