Holey Moley Assistant General Manager

Our ideal Holey Moley team member must enjoy working in a whimsical and fast-paced environment while maintaining the high standards that are set and demonstrated by the General Manager and supporting team. The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for running day-to-day operations and shifts with a focus on the Holey Moley values and via the guidance and direction of the General Manager. This role will focus on guest service, striving to hit all goals of service and financials, on the spot problem solving and team interaction including but not limited to; on-shift training of employees, support all roles during service, team building activities, and corrective activities.

What Are We Looking For?

• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role with relevant business experience
• Someone who can see the FUN through the lens of business and create an environment that embodies that
• Passion for service and delivering an A&B guest experience
• Demonstrated knowledge regarding food, beer and craft cocktails
• Strong communication skills
• Energetic and enthusiastic personality and attitude
• Willingness to learn and adopt new ideas
• Organized with high level attention to detail
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Ability to deliver and receive feedback with open mind and positive attitude

What You’ll Do:

• Go through a 6-week, ground up training program, so you can learn the ropes first before you start taking the reins.
• Responsible for executing and driving the shift, including opening and closing the venue.
• Work alongside an elevated bar, and food program, with events (functions)
• Maintain the guest journey through the venue by supporting, coaching, and teaching staff
• Embrace the Positive Mind Set that Holey Moley utilizes to achieve goals and guest satisfaction
• Respond to any and all reviews within a timely manner on shift
• Support the team of managers, including the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Bar Manager, Executive Chef, and Events Manager
• Assist in the hiring needs of the venue
• Identify and establish opportunities to promote and develop the brand and team
• Help to control all costs for food, beverage, and labor
• Manage and work alongside all team members in all positions
• Pivot and problem solve as the business requires
• Learn to take the next step in your personal and professional journey

Requirements

• Hospitality experience greater than 3 years
• Full availability
• Servsafe or TIPS certified (can be done upon being hired)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Capable and able to be on your feet for prolonged time frames
• Punctual and reliable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
