Case Management Coordinator

Holder Construction, an Atlanta-based commercial construction company with operations throughout the United States, is seeking an initiative-taking Claims Coordinator to join our project teams in Northern Virginia. The position will work directly with the Risk Management and Safety Departments, Subcontractors, and other third-party agents to manage the complex claim management processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide a best-in-class experience for our Associates, Subcontractors and Clients
  • Coordinate a consistent internal and external claims management process.
  • Responsible for setting up each project’s panel of physicians, as well as establishing and maintaining a working relationship with partnered clinics and mobile medical services.
  • Verify and analyze claim details to ensure the highest level of care is provided according to company policies and best practices.
  • Accompany workers to offsite care, providing guidance on all options available.
  • Provide coaching, information, and assistance to management and workers on risk management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage follow up care, communicating with project team leadership and relevant parties on claim updates.
  • Coordinate with the Company’s insurance group to identify the right specialists needed for care.
  • Maintain complete records for all losses, injuries, and property incidents.
  • Review all certificates of insurance to ensure Subcontractors and Sub tiers have the proper insurance in place.
  • Review and evaluate incident reports and claim trends in coordination with the Safety Department to identity risk factors and assist with developing initiative-taking measures.

Position Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of CCIP and OCIP claims handling experience.
  • Familiarity with 1904 Subpart C - Recordkeeping Forms and Recording Criteria
  • Must have excellent people skills to manage strategic relationships with external teams including clients, trades, physicians, and insurance agents.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively interact amongst all levels of the organization.
  • Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other technology applications used to support case management efforts.
  • Ideal candidate will also have construction and / or management experience.
