Holcim US is Hiring a Scale Operator Near Freedom, NY
Responsibilities
The Weigh Master/Quality Control Technician will perform quality control tests for the specific product line in accordance with established local and national standards. This position will be required to conduct quality control tests within the precision standards established by ASTM. The technician will be trained to perform all required aggregate testing to ASTM standards as well as conduct in depth problem solving, detailed data and trend analysis, and troubleshooting associated with aggregate material performance.
This position will also entail weighing and ticketing customer trucks. Candidate should have strong customer service focus and background.
- Availability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer needs.
- Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs. over uneven ground for a distance of 300 ft.
- Detail-oriented, basic computer skills, proficient in data entry
- Excellent math skills
- Reliability
- Dependable attendance
- The ability to get along with co-workers at all levels of the organization
- Other duties as assigned
- The ability to pass the post offer physical examination and pre-employment drug screening
