Description:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Aggregate Maintenance Technician-Swing Shift is responsible for maintaining mining processing equipment in a state of readiness. Performs the appropriate inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on processing and conveying equipment. Prepares all required daily/weekly department operating reports. ($3,500.00 SIGN ON BONUS)
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment by following the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals and company procedures.
  • Maintains an inventory of regularly required replacement parts.
  • Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments. Reports required repairs or other findings to Supervisor.
  • Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment required to address plant breakdowns.
  • Adheres to all safety, environmental and company policies and procedures in completing daily tasks, and completes all required paperwork in a timely fashion.
  • SCHEDULE: Shift differential rate paid/ Sunday off
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Required Education: High School diploma/equivalent
Required Work Experience: Experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in industrial environments.
Additional Requirements: Must have basic mechanical aptitude and general industrial maintenance to include: stick welding, arc welding, lite fabrication, cutting torch, and wrenching (hand tools).
Preferred experience: Operating a skid-steer, man-lift, and other industrial equipment
Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills.

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment, including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
