Overview

Perform maintenance, operate plant equipment and housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain plant sites, buildings, grounds and equipment at the plant or job site.

Responsibilities

• Operates plant processing equipment, maintains product quality and production output. Report any deficiency to supervisor for corrective measures.
• Follows all safety, compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards.
• Perform scheduled maintenance activities in a timely manner. Assist with major plant repairs and breakdowns as required. Coordinates work to ensure that repairs are completed in a timely manner in order of priority.
• Cleans under and around operating plant using hand tools and small mobile equipment. 

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use hand and power tools. Knowledge of company processes and procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• Valid driver’s license.
• Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Able to prioritize work.
