Public Health Nurse II-Communicable Disease Program Coordinator
Description of Work:
The Communicable Disease Program Coordinator shall independently coordinate the communicable disease program, to include, communicable disease surveillance, Tuberculosis program, and Sexually Transmitted Infections program, in adherence with federal, state, and local guidelines. In addition, the PHN II will perform duties in all agency clinical programs to include basic and specialized patient care and treatment, screening, counseling, education referral and follow-up.
Qualifications:
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and one year of public health experience; or graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and two years of professional nursing experience, one of which must have been in public health; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Public Health Program Coordinator experience preferred. Must have a current license to practice as an RN in the state of North Carolina.
Salary Range:
Grade 73 $59,318 to $65,476 (Commensurate with experience.)
